Alexander’s Third Month

We continue to be greatly entertained by Alexander’s varied and comical expressions (extensive photographic documentation below). Over the past month, he has become more interactive, developed a deep interest in his toy birds (with which he can play alone for up to 20 minutes!), learned to roll in both directions, and begun to attempt sitting up every chance he gets. He has transitioned from his bassinet to his “big boy” crib, where he likes to sleep on his side (thus strongly resembling a shrimp), and is now able to sleep for up to seven hours straight, a skill that has rendered both of his parents significantly less zombie-like than before. He now has an excellent nanny named Vicki, who is amazed by his consistent good cheer.
